Good luck - I hope you make a difference! Unfortunately, the one time I phoned the SCOP hotline to complain about a certain Superstore that insisted that bulk items weren't included, they never returned my call. Kind of ironic, wouldn't you say?

UPDATE: A lady from the SCOP Hotline JUST called me back. I nearly didn't answer it as it's my cell phone and it was an "odd" #!

She asked me to explain what happened... so I did... she asked for the store # and said she will file a complaint to the store and they (the store?) will contact me... forgot what words she used.
BUH HAHAHA!
I even told the manager I TRIED to speak with that I will be calling the SCOP Hotline and explaining what happened... she was totally okay with that!
Will update more as it happens...

Awesome deals (minus the bad SCOP situation...)!
I really wanted to get the St. Ives scrub (the one with salicylic (sp?) acid), but my walmart didn't have it at that price
By the way, the salicylic acid helps remove blemishes/acne/etc., but it's drying, so you'd need moisturizer/lotion. Also, since they're scrubs, they should be used only a few times a week. Hope this is useful hehe.

Thanks.
Just want my deserved SCOPs... and that they'll step it up a few notches when it comes to dealing with and learning from THEIR mistakes.
No one I dealt with was outright rude/irrational... very defensive (but not harsh) and maybe a bit condecending in an indirect way... but meh. Given the right time, I'll state pretty much that. lol
And winyen, thanks for the info! Awesome!Last edited by SmackUTwice; Tue, Feb 2nd, 2010 at 02:31 PM.

Calling the hotline is the best way to resolve it. I have called before and they were great. It feels good to go back after the store has had the complaint filed especially if they treated you poorly.

Great deals! I'm curious to know what location this one is at....but I think ALL the Walmarts are the same...the one in Spruce Grove is no different but there are "some" nice workers there!

You go girl! Sometimes it pays to be diligent and let the right people know, otherwise they'll never know there was a problem.

This is the SCOP reference sheet I use. On the second page it clearly states " If the customer is purchasing multiple (identical) products, the retailer must provide the first of the identical items free (or the $10 discount) and the remaining identical items at the lowest advertised or displayed price. "
Also there is no mention that you can not have multiple different items just that you get the first of each IDENTICAL item free.
I usually carry a copy of this SCOP just so that I don't have to debate with the stores what the rules are. They can just read it for themselves with the web addresses if they want to check it for themselves.
I find that alot of stores seem to come up with all kinds of excuses for why they should not honour SCOP.Last edited by kerrylj; Fri, Feb 5th, 2010 at 10:41 PM.

I usually do too.......... but had recently changed purses, haha. BUT I went back the next morning with a printout in hand arguing the "one SCOP per transaction".. and as I said and you said.. excuses. It was sickening, really.
Have yet to go back to that Wal-mart, lol. I went to our other wal-mart today... almost went to CS and asked what they know about SCOP......... but I figured I should let the other wal-mart clear themselves up before I start a hoopla at another, hehehe!
