I was at our RCSS, and saw that they have Astro 16 pks of yogurt marked down for half price. (they expire Feb 14) I looked at the tag on the shelf, reg $6.49 so I am thinking $3.25 isn't bad--plus I have the save $1 on any astro yogurt coupon...wow $2.25 I was proud of myself....until I got up to the till.
It seems the Astro yogurt at our store is on for $1.00
SO, with the 50% off sticker on it...it made it 50 cents....and since I had 2 packs she still let me use the $1 off coupon because she said it didn't exceed the price of "both" yogurts....
so....I said....its free????
she's like yep!
I'm like...COOL!
Now I have 32 containers of yogurt to eat in a week *lol*
(kidding I throw them in the freezer and use them for smoothies!!!)This thread is currently associated with: Real Canadian Superstore RCSS

That's an amazing deal. Some people say you can freeze yogurt-just stir it up when you go to eat it after thawing. Thumbs up.

i find yogurt taste the same after freezing it, but the texture is WEIRD... cant get over the texture, BUT you can also bake with it, i got the 16 packs of little "source" yogurts at zellers yesterday and also tubs of it, i literally just finished baking yogurt muffins with them... they are "different" than your regular muffins, but still yummy

for smoothies, I just add a couple of containers of the frozen yogurt (I make enough and share with the kids) put in some banana, or frozen berries, I sometimes add milk, or orange or apple juice. I have made coffee flavoured ones with frozen vanilla yogurt, milk, and instant coffee (might have to add a bit of sugar or splenda.)
