Speaking about keeping it going..... How should we do so. I can only commit to one month, and I know a couple others have stated that as well. Do we just agree on who will do what month and just start the thread on the first of that month? And, will we carry over the coupon info from the previous month into the next thread??

I am happy to do the thread next year & if I can get some helpers, even better!

Ok, I can take a hint... but I have "commitment issues" , wouldn't mind volunteering for one of the monthly threads. Should this person wait until Jan. 1 to start the yearly thread (index) that will lead to the monthly threads ?

I don't know how well monthly threads will work since the coupons don't expire but the top post of a wiki thread could be for 'new finds this month' edited by anyone and the index in the following threads - that way its easy for others to see whats out there now and what they can use?

I think I have to agree with previous comments that a wiki thread would just turn into a mess and be very difficult to maintain. I think it might be a good idea to begin January with a thread with coupons found in that month, then in February a new thread started with coupons found that month and the link to the previous month and so on and so forth.... this way, each month has the links to all the previous months so it is still all in one place in a way and people don't have to go searching. Or.... it could work so that one person begins a thread that hosts all the links to the monthly threads. So once a new month and thread begins, the person who starts the thread can message the person maintaining the link thread with the link. And, I think that might eliminate the need to pass down the responsibility of maintaining a yearly thread, and would provide a great coupon history Just my thoughts. Let me know if I haven't explained it quite right, because it should be a very simple thing to do.

The wiki would just be that months new coupons, so its easier to see what is available - personally I would not come in as a newbie and look through many long threads if I joined later in the year.

For people like Anne who use the thread to make coupons to use with flyers etc, you are tripling their work by making them look through several threads as well - I love that this thread can be scanned quickly to see if there is a coupon for an item I want to buy

We only need one thread and if FallenPixels has said she is going to do it, then really we don't need any more discussion lol. We can't have wiki's, it's preferable we have pics or scans for the thread, and so wiki's won't work. I cannot be looking through separate threads to keep these coupons in mind for my thread, and I need visuals as well. So...really it settles it if FallenPixels has volunteered. This thread works best the way it is, and since we have someone who has volunteered to carry it on throughout the entire year...then YAY! lol
