With minerals, you can always foil them on your eyes.

Foiling means applying them with a wet brush to get the powder to pack together and then pat it on your lids. I always use a primer underneath shadows doesn't matter what brand they are.

For smaller orders, they come in these plastic mail bags, and they just leave it in my mail box without ringing the bell. I did have two larger ones that came in boxes, and they rang the bell for that. If you happen to not be home, picking up at CP should only require that you bring ID with the right address. I've done a pick up with a utility bill before when I was still at my student house.

Actually, when I got my elf order it came in a surprisingly large box, and I only ordered a few things...when I opened it it was mostly paper. Cost them 19.45 to mail!

What I tell my clients to do if they don't have any fancy primers for eye shadows, is to use some good old foundation. Just a tiny dab on each eyelid and gently pat it in, blending it out and up towards your brow bone; though you want most of the product on your lid. This gives the shadow something to grab on to, there for providing maximum colour payoff! Works with even low end cosmetics.

yup that's what I do put a extra foundation around my eyes{lids} and then use that palette to put eye makeup on . I am not big fan of too many products.
got a question for makeup experts here. what should I do when my face powder makes skin flaky near nose and some parts of cheek?
ELF powder mineral pwder does that to me.please adviceJOIN ME AND GET FREE GIFT CARDS! CLICK ON THE LINKS BELOW!

SJ, are you buffing the powder into your skin or just patting/brushing it on? It really makes a difference when you buff the powder in with a flat top or firm kabuki brush.
Also, it might be a good idea to exfoliate those flakes off your skin. You can take a warm washcloth and some cream cleanser and gently buff your skin, or use an exfoliator like the Vitamin C Micro Refiner from The Body Shop. Just moisturize those areas really well after.

I got my first order today, I had ordered in Jan 2nd,it was shipped Jan 4th and arrived today. If you remember me saying, they did re-ship it, so I am not sure if this is the reship or the original.
- I ordered the large makeup holder, it has three opening in it to separate your brushes by type, and it says 'eyes lips face' on the front, it's nice.
- Lip stain in birthday suit.
- Under eye concealer and highlighter in fair (the lightest colour)
- Mineral lipsticks in runway pink and natural nymph
- complexion brush
- eyelash and brow wandLast edited by Justine; Tue, Feb 16th, 2010 at 08:33 PM.
