Checked this with 2 different sources - looks like they've raised the threshold. It used to be $50. Yikes!

Course me and SDM aren't on speaking terms right now...but I am sure I will forgive them soon...I can't live without my OP!

It seems SDM has been raising the stakes on everything( 15000 reg points to be an optimum member...spend 60 get 10 ).If they keep this up I might have to boycott shopper's drug mart and find a different points program to obsess about . HMMMM...airmiles are starting to look better.

they are probably raising the thresholds because the fact that everyone is buying the GC's for optimum points, then using them to pay every trip. its making it more expensive for them to run the optimum points program.

Afterall you thought Ontario was only getting $175 on last bonus redemption when it was actually $200. Maybe the $60 is for different provinces.
