LAST to be in the middle of a blizzard - SO glad I don't have to go out!

A pregnant woman wouldn't make it into the city to the hospital, so had her baby in an ambulance off the highway on the way here - baby is fine.
Could be a cool naming opportunity.

Wow. Good thing there was someone with her. I know it's all natural, etc. but can be a scary time.

I know - lucky the ambulance was able to get out to them. They are from a small town just over an hour away.

Now on our main Circle Drive (ring road through the busiest commercial area), there are three semis jack-knifed - and one's a tandem.
Hoping like crazy my husband isn't out driving job to job, but is staying in one place.
At least he's smart enough to not use Circle Drive usually when there's ice/snow, because it gets awful enough.

Yeah, I wanted snow - but a blizzard is another thing. Lots of snow coming down, winds gusting to 70 or so, and the ONLY saving grace is that it's only -7.

LOL, I'm back - actually, our long-range forecast is saying we are going to be +5 by Friday or the weekend....

Interestingly, a March storm isn't unusual here at all, from my memories. It's only been in the past decade or so that the weather has been off-kilter.

We've had snow in May, with cherry blossoms on the trees.

But I must say my fave was snow in August several years ago. That's gotta be once in a lifetime!

we had snow fall last week, then warm sunny day (snow mostly melted) and now cold and icy... Don’t care if we didn’t get much snow this year, I want summer already.

yucky here, but not a blizzard. It's usual for us to have March and early April storms. Winter's last try, I always say. I don't mind these storms much because it can't last long and we've had a very descent winter. Makes up a little for last year.

On the plus side last week was the first snow that was good for snowmen or forts!
