I totally agree with you. These freebies or free samples should be free. Shipping should also be free. Even though it is freebies or free samples, everything should be free.

There seems to a lot of stuff that I would not consider freebies being posted lately

Seeing I am the one doing all the freebie posts, which type of freebies that I have been posting do you not consider freebies? I try to put as much needed info in the title as possible to save confusion and software and games that normally cost are a freebie. Trial issues of magazines are free. I make sure there is no shipping or I mark as expired when alerted. Business freebies I post too but they are free and I add that they are for companies in the title. Not sure what ones you are talking about.

Sometimes they change the offer. Best thing is to reply to the post mentioning that and hopefully the poster will see your comment and mark it as over or expired. Periodically I go through a lot of my posts and mark what I find as expired but I have pages and pages of posts lately and don't always have time to do that. I mark other posts as expired but that doesn't seem to do any good as I think it only matters when the original poster marks it as such. Originally Posted by klarion2

I personally still consider it a freebie if I pay for shipping and handling.... I have gotten a 20$ freebie and only paid 4.95 in shipping... which I did not consider to be an issue.
