when i found a small twig like thing in my chunky soup i emailed them and they are sending a postage paid envelope for me to send it to them....they will probably do the same for this so they can send it to their experts to identify

For sure call them. I complained about my two ply toilet paper not coming off the roll properly and they sent me a bunch of coupons. Your issue could have been dangerous though...fungus god only knows what it actually was!

Yeah, thats a health risk. Always save that stuff and write the company. Don't return it to the store for a refund.
WORST thing I found, in a bag of bulk dried fruit and nuts, stuck inside and coming out of a piece of dried fruit, a curly hair that looked very much like a PUBIC HAIR. I made a huge fuss at the grocery store, got the suppliers address and sent a very nasty letter. They sent a thankyou note with a $10 coupon. I think a pubic hair was worth... a little more than that, because thats sue-able material. My sister found a fake nail in Motts applesauce once, and recently I found a hard brown chunk inside a piece of smoothy maynards candy that could have been either dirt or feces.

The only thing (besides the occasional bad milk) which I return to store was Years ago when I was a teen I found a spider inside the can of clams I had opened,,,, wrote a letter but was young and never did mail it. Today it would be a different story, write , call, complain.....
