In a heartbeat, I would trade London Drugs for the amazing grocery sales for food you guys seem to get! I drool when I see the flyers/deals on regular, everyday food for a family with such low prices!

Yup, you can't eat razors and body wash.

Better prices on produce would be more than welcome.

Yes I agree, the east has incredible sales on food. I'm hoping one day LD expands their food section like Shoppers has.

True food can be as cheap as 50 % - 100 % in ON as compared to the West

Its ( grocery/food ) something you buy every week & lots of ...except for maybe diapers , pet food , toothpaste etc @ London Drugs ( stacking ) ..the rest of the stacking deals mostly seem to be on deos , smellies like glade etc , body washes , shampoos , cleaning supplies etc ..I can't stack here but I don't think I need/spend more than 10 bucks ( after using cpns ) on these products anyways for my family per month ...there are only so much you need for these ...but spend maybe close to $ 250 - $ 300 / month on groceries/produce/meat ( after deals , cpns etc ) ..I rarely buy processed food or canned food , usually just buy fresh stuff ...the same food will be probably $ 500 / MONTH OUT WEST .

About once a month or so we do get some cheap deals here on these toileteries like the current BOGO RCSS , Loblaws sale etc where you can stock up on these with coupons for very cheap even though you can't stack .

My first brag not so successfull:
I went to my pet speciallity food store today for my two cats because they have a special with the dry cat food purina pro-plan by one at 12,49$ got the 2 free
Saw the announcement to subscribe to pet club and received the litter and the 1 bag of food...i'm subscrib but never received wet..so hope this will come...

So I bought 2 bags of food my friend 2 bags too...because the promo allow 2 offers ...so 8 bags in total - 10 $ manufacturer coupons (grrr wish I had more of these) the cashier take it after discuting with another ...she dont know we can combine the too!!! total : 50$ instead of 100$

Last week at maxi bought: 2 cat litter in box for 4,97 not in spécial value of 9'99$ - 2 x 1,00 off coupons= 8$
plus BIGI whiskas tempation at 3.39 so 1,69$ each
    saving:régular price:61,61$ instead of123$

I love reading LD brags even if there isn't one in Ontario. It's so incredibly inspiring to see what people can do, though I imagine it must be a lot of work to collect enough coupons to stack so you can get stuff for free.

We may not have LD, but we have Food Basics and I don't think that's a chain they have out west. And, personally, I'd rather have cheap eats because last time I checked (around age 7 when my sister taught me the "f" word), soap didn't taste so good.

    Rock on SC-ers!

Cheaper food prices and deals on food, far outweigh cheap or free deodorant and bodywash. You can only use so much of that stuff . Would rather have great deals on food. Either way truly enjoy looking at everyones brag. Just makes us strive to be better at this coupining stuff

Yeah - I guess your right. I didnt realize that food was not similar to our prices here in Ontario. You are right tho, how many toiletries does one need? I wonder how a grocery store here in Ontario for example, No Frills can sell something so much cheaper than a No Frills in BC? There are No Frills there right?
