Headed to SDM this morning to pick up a few deals. Don't need much and didn't want to overspend as its not in the budget this week. I didn't even browse the store long enough to see what else was on sale as I knew I didn't have the money to spend.
I had a great cashier too!
Always makes for a pleasant shopping trip!
All the coupons I had were for either $1.00 off or $2.00 off. The cashier (Lesa) said she couldn't take the full amount off and that she would just adjust the coupon. I told her that I was fine with that and was happy that she was willing to adjust them.
Here's what I got:
2x Sunlight Dishsoap - $.99x2 = $1.98 - $1.98 = FREE
3x Colgate Toothbrushes - $.99x3 = $2.97 - $2.97 = FREE
3x Colgate Total Toothpaste - $.99x3 = $2.97 - $2.97 = FREE
10x Softlips - $1.99x10 = $19.90 - $19.90 = FREE
Without coupons, this would have cost me $27.82 but because I am a Smart Canuck, I didn't pay anything!

They allowed you to use multiple softlips printables?
Or was it another softlips coupon that I am unaware of?

Lucky you - not only to be able to have them adjust the coupons - ours won't, even for a penny - but you got to use the softlips coupon when it says on it to not be used with sale prices... wow.
Did you do all 10 in one transaction, too?
Even when we have a valid coupon, we can only use one.

Oooooh where did you get the Colgate, and toothbrush coupons from??? I was so excited when I saw that SDM had that sale for $0.99, but then I went through my websaver Colgate coupons and the coupons excluded exactly extra clean toothbrushes and the 75ml toothpaste... I'm PMSing so I just about started crying.... :D You did an awesome shopping trip! WTG!
In 2010/11 I used over $7700 in coupons!
My 2012 goal is $6000 in coupons!
