My loblaws won't let me do it. A manager comes and says "you cannot use a coupon on a product where we have to pay you money". I've tried using a $4 coupon on a $3.99 product, and they won't allow me. Is there a good SC response to that???

Read the coupon closely to see if it says "applicable taxes included in value of coupon" or something to that effect. If it does, then they should give you the full value of the coupon as long as it isn't more then the price + taxes.

Why do you say it's greedy? If the coupon doesn't specify size and the store allows her to use it and the store is getting their money back, then so what? How do you know that people who buy lots aren't going to donate them?
Though I wouldn't likely do it myself and I wouldn't fault anyone else who does since I don't know why they might need that much (maybe they will donate to a shelter that could use them)

LOL this is so true - I was a little stressed out reading it as well. I saw this coupon (or a similar one - I didn't see which province you're in) a while ago and because it said "selected products" when the cashier scanned it, it didn't take it, so she said it must not have been one of the selected products. Maybe they should have let me know which ones it worked on?

the coupon is "one per family and/or customer account", not per item purchase, you can use only one, no matter how many you buy. Please don't abuse.

I also believe this is greed and abuse of the store that has been nice to all of us. These are in store coupons and not the manufacturer coupons, so store doesn't get a penny back from the manufacturer.

The coupon clearly says "one coupon per household" so it shouldn't be used 12 times . This is very low.

Okay...so they let you stack? I was wondering if this would change, as on the back of the 'new' instore coupons it says 'cannot be combined with any other coupon or promotion'. Cool beans if they continue to allow it!

You can find it on coupon zones at Loblaws (for sure) and Zehrs (from what I've heard). I think this is a new thing they are introducing, so they might not have one at your local store yet. They have them at the entrances and mine had it near the products as well.

I don't think we have loblaws around here, but we do have zehrs and rcss. Rcss used to have an awesome coupon zone, but now when I check it out it only has no name brand coupons, and no one ever takes them.
