If anyone has it or knows where to get it...please help me out...it would e really appreciated. Btw...I need Turing version 4.0.5! hey,
I asked my hubby about this... he said way back in his day, they used it (he had it on floppy disc- that's how long ago he's talking about) and you could get a compiler when you bought a book about it.

Yes, as julieonmymind pointed out, it’s a very old programming language! Why does your school use such a language? maybe coz it's a Canadian invention?
I’ve never used it before but I know Prof. James Cordy, the person who invented it. He is currently the chair of School of Computing at Queen’s University and I see him around a lot. I can ask him if you’re really serious. The inventor would definitely have the compiler :D

Found it! :D
There is no version 4.0.5
The version you're looking for, which is licensed to the Ministry of Education of Ontario, Canada, is Turing Version 4.0.3
You can download it from here:
http://vaughanss.on.ca/11/turing/setup.exe
I downloaded it too just incase it gets removed from that website. If the download link doesn't work let me know. btw. if you read the license on the image below it say that turing may be redistributed to students if the school bought the appropriate license.
You can also find useful Turing tutorials and help on this forum:
