    This is disgusting.

    I went to SDM today to take advantage of their 1.99 Gilette Sale. Well i also got two annabelle eyeliners that were 2.99 each minus the coupon so it was 0.99.

    Well i got a plum colour and black, well I saw that the purple was nice and sharp and I forgot to check the black. Well I come home to check and its been USED thats disgusting. It wasn't even like blunt the wood part around the liner was black ish, how it comes like when its used.

    I am going back first thing tomorrow morning to return it. however, im a bit scared they will say no for hygenic purposes. But my mom says that i should just tell them that why would I use it and want to EXCHANGE it for the same colour. I dont know I hope they say yes cause that is just gross. And I know its not the workers fault because I guess they can't check all the eyeliners but what kind of customers do that......

    Anyone work at SDM that can help me? The code says SALEF (does that mean final?)

    i totally would not want to use it either, but chances are someone picked it up and drew with it... i dont think someone actually put it on their eyes in the store! lol

    Yeah they prob put it on their hand or something, but still I would not want to use it either.

    Well, I would take it back with the other one to show them the difference...btw, did the eyeliner have the plastic seal on it...I look for them because alot of the testers are mixed in with the products...Maybe thats what you got a tester (not sure)...

    The 2.99 eyeliners here were not shades that I was looking for! oh well, got the smudge liners instead, lol (9.49-2cpn) & love them!

    Yeah I was looking for the ones with a plastic seal but none of them seemed to have them Other brands usually do. Im going to check tomorrow THanks Smudge liner sounds really nice!!

    The annabelle eyeliners didn't have the seals wither when I bought mine.

    All mine were ok though

    Gross. I got 2 liners a couple weeks ago and I made sure to check them because they dont have seals. SUre enough the first one I grabbed had been used

    I checked my clearance Shoppers receipts none say SALEF.One of Shoppers in my city has a stamp for receipts Clearout Items Final Sale.You could always try to take it back but you shouldn't have to high hopes for a refund or exchange.

    If they won't take it, I'd call/email Annabelle. I am willing to bet that they would do something, after all a happy customer is worth more in future sales!

    I guess what you'll have to do if they won't accept it, is just sharpen it really well until all the stuff thats been used is gone and replaced with good stuff.. Its a great deal, but yah, I have noticed that a lot of stores put their testers in with the rest of the products...
    In 2010/11 I used over $7700 in coupons!
    My 2012 goal is $6000 in coupons!

    I agree with Alee- sharpen it a good bit and dip the tip of the pencil in some rubbing alcohol to sanitize it. I have to do this when I sanitize my makeup kit between clients.

    I'm sure SDM will let you do an exchange. I've refunded/exchanged various cosmetics before. The cosmeticians there are usually very helpful and understanding! Good luck.

    Well well well well!well......well!
    I just saw the disaster and all the dead bodies in chile and thought hey at least they didn't spend 99 cents on a used eyeliner! What a disaster! Take a step back and look at what you're griping about .
