I just returned from Walmart & Giant Tiger (I gave up boycotting WM....it's been 8 yrs already, lol) with $59.81 worth of goodies for a grand total of $11.29!
So without further ado, here's my haul:
3 boxes Post cereals $1.74 ea (price matched from RCSS)=$5.22
- used 3 $1 off coupons
6 Sense and Sprays $4.99 ea (price matched from RCSS)=$29.94
- used 6 $5 off coupons
1 Vaseline Lotion $1.99 ea (price matched from RCSS)=$1.99
- used $2 off coupon
6 Friskies Party Mix $.75 ea= $4.50
- used 3 $1 off coupons
13 St Ives Apricot Scrubs $1 ea= $13
-used 13 $1 off coupons
On the way home I was passing by Giant Tiger and realized that I had 4 Majesta bathroom tissue coupons with me too. Hit the brakes! We need some "almost free" bum wipers
4 pks of tissue $1.29 ea-$5.16
-used 4 $1 off coupons
I missed out on getting my bread, because Walmart doesn't carry Country Harvest Vitality so I'll have to find a Loblaws somewhere tomorrow.
I LOVE the almost free shopping trips! This thread is currently associated with: Giant Tiger, Loblaws, Real Canadian Superstore RCSS, St. Ives, Walmart

Great job... Where did you find Vaseline coupons that haven't expired yet, please?

Thanks! I have had many many better shopping trips but this was my first time sharing/bragging on SC

You know what? I actually feel pretty terrible because as I was presenting the cashier with all of the coupons, I did notice that the Vaseline one had the Feb 28 expiry date and I chose not to say anything (I didn't notice beforehand). I'm sure the Karma police will work their magic on me for that one though.
Well come to think of it, maybe I already received my misfortune for that. I also purchased a pair of shoes at Walmart. When I got home I realized that even though the pair were attached by a plastic thingy, they were 2 different sizes!

Great shopping! And yes Karma does have a way of bitting us in the ass. But maybe just a little bite.

I'm not suggesting that people should go around using expired coupons, but just so that you don't feel so bad, I'm pretty sure that the store will still get reimbursed, as on all coupons it is usually written that the store has 90 days to submit the coupon in for reimbursment, or on some coupons even longer (6 months!) so considering the coupon was only expired by 1 week... I think they will still be able to get the $ back.
Anyone feel free to correct me if I am wrong. Again, not suggesting that people should do this on purpose!!Join Swagbucks to earn free gift cards! Join Swagbucks!

Hi. Great Brag. I loved the hit the brakes part for the toilet paper too. lol
I work in the shoe department and it happens all the time with wrong sizes of shoes together. People have different sized feet so they change the sizes(eg 7,and,8) and sneakily put the other shoes together so know one know they took 2 different sizes. When we find these mismatched shoes we claim them and then have to throw them in the garbage. How depressing.
Sorry you got 2 sizes. That sucks. Take them back and get the right match. Not so much that Karms bit you but other shoppers.
