Shoppers awards there employers for going the extra mile with gift cards so you should point this out to the owner.

I have a SDM near my place, and I always see the same cashier, even if I have to wait a while longer for her line. She has a kind heart and a welcoming smile (:

I've always had great customer service at SDM, except that one time a cashier wouldn't let me use the $4 Fusion coupon for the Gillette gift pack.
But one day I had exceptional service from a certain young man. Pleasant smile, very charming, asked if he could help me find things, directed me nicely to the shelves, picked things out for me, all the time making pleasant and helpful conversation. The only thing wrong with him is that he had a haircut like 'Ben Linus' on "Lost", and looked almost like him.
I felt more and more uncomfortable and tried to avoid eye contact.
There's another guy in the furniture store that has a 'Ben' haircut and stylized appearance; I don't go there now. Why are these guys trying to look like a notorious homicidal maniac?

If he was that nice, pleasent, helpful why would you feel uncomfortable with him based on a hair cut? It is just a hairstyle. If he went out of his way to help I hope you mentioned that to his boss.

Copycat characterizations can be alarming if a person is copying a dangerous character; inward fantasies, identifications and all that kind of thing. I'd feel the same way if somebody deliberately tried to look like Hitler.
Did you ever meet someone and feel "weirded-out" because your sixth sense sent you some warning vibes? While other times, you sensed that it's only someone expressing themselves by wearing an unusual hairstyle, clothing etc.

When did I say anything about being prejudice?
I read your post again and you are pretty clear. You thought the guy was nice, pleasent, helpful, etc, but you felt more and more uncomfortable with him as he had his hair styled like the character from LOST and you assume he is trying to emulate a "notorious homicidal maniac" because he has the same hair style.
No need for me to see things differently as I see it clearly.
Not sure what living longer and meeting more people has to do with anything
