I just got my 4 weeks notice letter of lay-off

I am given choice of continue working with pay or not work with pay

I am leaning towards not work with pay and relax at home


I feel that I am unwanted

but then again win, it might work in your favor if you continue to work.. shows that you're serious about keeping your job.. perhaps when they hire again, they might hire you back right away.. if you take the money and run, they might consider you to be a slacker and hire someone else.. sorry to hear about it

Does that mean it would be working out your notice instead of taking vacation days? That way, you'd have your vacation payout at the end if you work, so that will help.
