Looks like I messed up today. The boss left me with a honey do list that I ignored & went golfing instead-an awesome day! Will try & smooth things over with a rum & coke ready when she walks in the door along with a BBQ chicken dinner-off to fire up the Q. Might have the odd brew at the Q!

Just feeling in a bit of a funk this week. I thought I had a touch of the same thing my DH has (head cold), but the symptoms are all wrong - a bit of a stuffy head, but more gut and gastro-type ick feelings. The worst part appears to be that yucky metal-mouth taste that you sometimes get when your nose is a bit plugged... I've had it on and off for two days now.

I really, really need to get focused and get lots done tomorrow - I'll be meeting with my advisor on Monday and need to make sure that my research work is on track before then. I'd like to not be working on the weekend; here's hoping I get a better night's sleep tonight and find myself more productive tomorrow.

Okay, time to get down to it and play with some data!
I am hoping to come up with some comparisons and analyses that will knock the socks off my client... although it's really hard to picture anyone's socks being knocked off by pivot tables of data from the Survey of Employment, Payrolls and Hours and the System of National Accounts!
