Do you know there are many songs all about Saturday?
Lonely ballads, songs of romance & some doo wop along the way,
One More Saturday Night, is a tune by The Grateful Dead,
The Carpenters sang a song called Saturday, but it wasn’t a hit widespread,
One of Chicago’s biggest hits was Saturday in the Park,
& Elton John said Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting probably after dark,
Cat Stevens once had nobody on Another Saturday Night,
& King Crimson had a Book of Saturday, another tune about plight,
David Bowie’s Drive-In Saturday was on the album Aladdin Sane,
& Same Old Saturday Night by’ ole blue eyes’ goes well with champagne,
Louisiana Saturday Night by Alabama is schmaltzy & kinda twangy,
& Saturday Night by the Bay City Rollers may be bound to drive you rangy,
Someday I’ll Be Saturday Night contains wailing by Jon Bon Jovi,
& Almost Saturday Night by John Fogerty, is sung in the key of D,
On Saturday Afternoons in 1963 is by the lovely Rickie Lee Jones,
& Tom Wait’s Heart of Saturday Night sure has melodic tones,
I’m sure there are many Saturday songs that I’ve omitted from my prose,
So at this time, I shall conclude & bring these queries to a close.

Now that Im rested, Ill go more into detail.
First got to the Convention at opening time and as I was getting the tickets I preordered I saw a guy dressed as Abe Lincoln ( supposed to be Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter) so I shouted "Hail to the chief" and it turned out to be someone I knew for years but fell out of contact with until a few months ago and didnt recognize right away. He was with toher people I knew so that was cool. They were going to the same panel as me ( The Arrow panel), as we were in line I saw a guy dressed as Ness from earthbound and shouted "We need to stop Giygas" He then shouted "YES! Finally!. At the Arrow panel we were shown the first episode and given some swag ( bracelets with a metal arrow logo and some posters) and were handed tickets. I eneded up sitting next to someone else who was Jewish and it turned out I went to high school with him ( he was a year ahead of me) Then in the row in front of me was a cousin of mine ( whom I also went to high school with) We were then told that if you had a certain ticket you could meet the cast for autographs and I didnt have one but the people sitting next to me did. My friend and I watched the pilot and wanted to ask questions but werent called on for questions. Ben Mulroney moderated the panel and was booed heavily ( someone shouted that his father ( a former prime minister of canada) was still more popular than Ben will ever be) After the Q and A I split up with my friend and walked the exhibitor floor and artist's alley.
I got Autographs from Esad Ribic ( He was very friendly and even more when I mentiond Im also slavic and mentioned how my Great Grandfather got Ellis Islanded when he came from Belarus), Tony Moore ( who drew a punihser logo in my copy of FrankenCastle and talked for a bit and answered a question about the Lawsuit), Bob Layton ( Very friendly and was willing to talk about the problems he had with Marvel over Iron Man forever ( including going through four editors, one of whom didnt know who Layton was!) and mentioned he was upset about Royalties but interestingly had no problem over Hercules), Faith Erin Hicks ( so friendly and nice to talk with) Kaare Andrews ( he drew a spidey sketch in my copy of Spider-man reign and mentioned stuff he was forced to leave out, which was likely for the best) and talked with the creators of Kill Shakespeare ( who explained the delay with the deluxe hardcover of the series) and talked with Neal Addams and got his autograph for free ( he was charging 5 dollars for one ( he seemed a bit weird as well))
I bought lots of stuff as well, including looking for group volume 4 ( which the creators signed for me and I had a really nice talk with them) Doctor strange a seperate reality, the life and death of captain marvel, freakangels ( from the avatar booth) The best of archie comics volume 1 ( from the archie booth), on eof my favourite stores in Toronto had set up there selling artbooks and Albums of European Comics. I got the english hardcover of the nikopol trilogy from them. And when my friend and I were ready to leave, he wanted to go check out one last vendor to look for figures, I had spent enough and wasnt going to spend more but looked through the comics at the store for fun. I came across a still sealed deathlok masterworks for 25 dollars and bought it immediately. A 70+ dollar book ( In canada) for 25 dollars is a big score.
Had a bit of a scare when I lost my bag but thankfully it was in the lost and found with everything in it. All in all a good and exhausting day.http://www.amazon.com/gp/cdp/member-...stRecentReview
