Whew! What a relief to learn this...
Ever walk into a room with some purpose in mind, only to completely forget what that purpose was? Turns out, doors themselves are to blame for these strange memory lapses.

Psychologists at the University of Notre Dame have discovered that passing through a doorway triggers what's known as an event boundary in the mind, separating one set of thoughts and memories from the next. Your brain files away the thoughts you had in the previous room and prepares a blank slate for the new locale.

It's not aging, it's the door! Thank goodness for studies like this.

Tel Aviv is now getting bombed. Places I went to when I wa sin israel have been bombed. My cousins are getting bomb shelters ready and practicing drills with their kids.

A guy traveling through the USA on vacation lost his wallet and all of his identification. Cutting his trip short,
he attempted to make his way home but was stopped by the Canadian Customs Agent at the border.

"May I see your identification, please?" asked the agent.

"I'm sorry, but I lost my wallet," replied the guy.

"Sure buddy, I hear that every day. No ID, no entry," said the agent.

"But I can prove I'm a Canadian!", he exclaimed. "I have a picture of Celine Dion tattooed on one side
of my butt and Shania Twain on the other."

"This I got to see," replied the agent.

With that, the guy dropped his pants and showed the agent his behind.

"By golly, you're right!" exclaimed the agent. "Have a safe trip back to Toronto ".

Thanks!" he said. "But how did you know I was from Ontario ?

"The agent replied, "I recognized Dalton Mc Guinty in the middle."

Good morning....one nice frosty morning to start the day.

Today is, National Button Day! Often when you buy a clothing, the garment will come with a bonus button to hang on to for later repairs.
Of course, we usually just toss this button in a box somewhere and then by the time we need it we forgot we ever had it in the first place.
Okay, maybe this doesn't happen to everyone, but for those of us with a box of misfit buttons, today's the day to put them to good use.
