Nearly $600 worth of stuff for $51+ tax!!

We decided to head out late this afternoon to hit up a couple of stores. We went to Zellers, The Bargain Shop, Pharmasave and London Drugs and we got nearly $600 worth of items for $51.33 plus tax!!!

The first photo is of our goodies from The Bargain Shop and from Zellers. The second photo is our stuff from Pharmasave and London Drugs.

I learned today at The Bargain Shop that you can stack an in-store coupon with a manufacturer's coupon!!! They had a flyer coupon for Goldfish, and I had 2 coupons from the manufacturer for them as well. So I got 2 packages of Goldfish for $1.94. (I usually pay $5-6 for 2 packs!)

At Zellers I took full advantage of the $3WUB4 Kraft coupons.
* Christie Crackers $1.66 x 12 - $3WUB4 x 3 = $10.92 or $0.91 each!!
* Kleenex pocket packs bundles clearance $2 x 2 - $1 x 2 = $1.00 each
* Colgate toothbrush $1 - $1 = FREE
* Handy Mandy band-aids clearance $2.59 - $2 = $0.59

- Total coupons: $14.00
- OOP: $13.51
- Tax: $ 0.91

(And before anyone gets mad at me for getting the toothbrush, I asked at the pharmacy if they had any toothbrushes on sale that I could use my coupon on and they said I could get the Extra Clean toothbrush as they had the stock to cover it!!)

We decided to hit up another Pharmasave after some other SCers suggested we try a different location that would allow coupon adjusting!!
* Coupons: $98.45 which was DOUBLED to $196.90
* OOP: 27.24
* Tax: $25.91

And our shopping trip would not have been complete without a trip to London Drugs And to make it even better, my favourite cashier was working tonight!!! We now have a lifetime supply of coffee filters I was even able to use up some soon to expire coupons on some great deals.
* Coupons and Price Matching: $254.73
* OOP: 8.64
* Tax: $26.65

Ok, we're now pooped from shopping Pharmasave yesterday, Shopper's Drug Mart this morning, and all these stores late this afternoon

Were the filters at LD an in store special? Did you stack coupons for this? I'm needing filters as well so I'm curious....and may need to take a trip to LD if it's a sale item in their flyer. I just didn't see it in the flyer perhaps?

It's a Manager's Special....but I believe it's an unadvertised sale. If you check the LD website it lists the Melitta filters (200 count) as $0.99. (I also saw someone else post this a week or two ago.) I bought 6 packages at $0.99 each. I used $0.75 tearpad x 6 and $0.75 mail out x 2 = FREE.
