Okay, I was talking to a friend the other day about coupons and she insisted that if you purchase an item with a BOGO Free coupon and were to return the items that you would receive the money back for BOTH items. When I questioned why, she said that it's because the company won't go through their coupons to remove the BOGO coupon and thus get reimbursed from the company itself still. I didn't think this was right at all.

This doesn't seem right to me. Wouldn't that be stealing? You didn't pay for the product out of pocket, so you shouldn't be reimbursed for it. Right? This thread is currently associated with: N/A

IMO this is morally wrong wrong wrong I would never consider doing that and I hope others fell the same way. I think you are right Tara you got it for free so don't return it. Some store receipts have bogo on them so this would not be an issue but for the ones that don't DONT. Geeze why do people have to try to ruin things for us?? Sorry for the rant I feel very strongly about this one.

I have asked about this when making a pruchase on a bogo. If you need to return both items for the return to be accepted.
