    Hi everyone,

So during the snow storm we had here yesterday we thought to go for a walk to get out of the house. Luckily we live walking distance to a Dollarama. In this picture you will see our finds! We even saw those crazy carpet toboggans and were going to grab them towards the end of our shopping but we totally forgot. They were in the toy aisle out of all places!

The Sweep Mate is awesome!! It has rubber bristles so it doesn't damage the floors. We have stairs with carpet that are hard to vacuum with a normal large vacuum. I tried with a handy vac but nothing was picked up. The Sweep Mate has a telescopic handle too that you can adjust. This was great when working on small spaces at the corner of our staircase. It can also be used on wet surfaces as one side has a squeegee. My mom bought this at the CNE a few years ago (2 for $20). She was shocked that Dollarama has it. Also, if you are wondering if it works it TOTALLY does. There is a picture of what it picked up. It sells for $3 and can be found by the brooms and mops at the store.

The Sally nail polish was a good find. I pulled out my phone at the store to see if it's compatible with nail art stamper kits and it should be!

My DH was shocked about the fish food. He said it's name brand and a good price as it usually retails for $3.99.

Also, we were both shocked at the ready to grow herbs, especially because we just walked through a snow storm! Each grow kit comes in a pot with seeds and soil. They only had 3 variety so we got them all - basil, oregano and parsley.

    So there you have it!

For people who shop at Dollarama's in Brampton here are some questions:
    1. Which Brampton Dollarama has the best variety?
    2. Have you seen the Mio water flavors at any of the Brampton locations?

    Thanks!

I should mention that the kits don't have a tray at the bottom, so you'll need to buy a tray so they don't get everything under them wet. I have always looked for those trays at Dollarama and never had luck.

linguistar, i have never seen the sally hansen polishes. great find

i live near the one at queen/410 and it is pretty big so it has a big selection. relatively short lineups too.

i went to the one in trinity commons recently but it was insane! i will never go there again. the lineup to pay was sooo long (worse than shoppers world, imagine that!) also they had broken items with missing parts selling for full price.

    Hi Anisa,

Thanks for the details. I live by the Trinity one. I like the location by you. Your line ups are definitely faster!

There is one at Torbram/Bovaird where I've found the stainless steel kettles and nail art stampers that I previously posted. I'm beginning to think that location is good, but it could just have been that when I went they had new product.

    Thanks for sharing

Trainyards has Sally Hansen and revlon polish, herb gardens, tipsy turfy tomato planters and those Cadbury fondue sets. I am getting the gardening stuff for sure. Can't wait for spring!
