I picked up 2 of the scrubbing bubbles toilet gel yesterday at Zellers.
They were on sale 2 for $6 I had a one dollar coupon and a B1G1 so I figured not bad for $2. At the till they rang up at 4.17 and I ask the cashier are they not 2 for $6 and she proceed to tell me that the price would be adjusted after she hits total. Then she started to input the price for the b1g1 at 4.17 so again is said, that should be $3 and she said well they rang in at 4.17 so the coupon has to be for 4.17.

So needless to say I just shut up.
    2 toilet gels $6 - 1 - 4.17 = .83

I should have gone back and got more.

Whatever works for them! (Only if it's good for US that is!) I wonder if her career as a cashier will be a long one? Hope she gets the training she needs! She probably needs the job as we all do!

Hmm my Save On Foods won't accept coupons... Not even their own.
In 2010/11 I used over $7700 in coupons!
My 2012 goal is $6000 in coupons!

I had the same thing happens to me this week end. Both Scrubbing bubbles were scanning at 3.99, so she took off 3.99, but in the end the receipt shows that they were both $3.00... Great!

LOL hey good for you! But where was your SPC 10% discount card! You would have saved an additional $.60! (they have to input the 10% discount code before they can take off the coupons!)
