Just found out how to add reputation comment duhh.
Thanks to all the ones who added to mine. From now on I will be able to spread the magic as well.
For other newbies or slow ones (lol, like me) is the icon just next the one that says when you are on or off line in your posted comments. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

When another poster says something that you agree with or you want to give someone a pick-me-up, you can given them reps. Basically, you click on the cauliflower-looking thing in the bottom left corner below their name and a window pops up where you type in what you want to say, then click the button to submit it.
Here is the link to CanadianBella's FAQ which will give you a more precise answer than what i've given with hyper links to visuals:
http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/179335-...s-read-canada/
The hyper links there show you pictures of what giving reps looks like. They're called "step one" and "step two"
Hopefully I haven't just made it more confusing. LOL.Last edited by ninna; Sat, Mar 19th, 2011 at 12:26 PM.

PART ONE: The Maple Leafs correspond to the number of posts you've made on the forum.
So, when you have between 0 and 99 posts on the forum, you have 1 maple leaf and the "newbie" designation.
When you have between 100 and 199 posts, you get two maple leafs and a "loonie designation"
It goes up from there, although not in regular increments. Next time you're browsing around, have a look at other ppl's maple leafs and the number of posts they have.
Not all the "levels" require the same amount of posts to reach as the one that came before. The first 3 or 4 levels you get boosted to a higher status easily (takes about 100 posts per level for the first 3-4 levels). Once you hit "smart Canuck" I think it takes more posts to move to the next level. Don't know how many more though. haha. I've been at this level since last fall.
The idea being that with the more posts you make, the more expert of a smart canucker you become. I think the highest level is a Canadian Genius.
Believe or not, a member on here recently surpassed the 100,000 mark.Last edited by ninna; Sat, Mar 19th, 2011 at 12:36 PM.

PART TWO: Here's is the link to a sticky on the topic of candies:

Here is also a link to the sticky in the "welcome" section that explains most of SC's features:
