Im thankful I went to the toronto fan expo. i got a bunch of comics, including one i was looking around for, for a while, and got autogrpahs from professionals. I even met peter david, who I admire greatly, and I told him I was an aspiring writer and he wrote in my copy of his novel that I gave him to autograph, "best of luck with your writing career" and he told me one day I would be on the other side of the table.

DS did not feed them while I was away-Grrr! Thought they would never come back!

Slowly but surely they are returning

With what appears to be fall like weather, the ones that live in the cedars are setting up shop again.

I highly recommend a bird feeder for anyone, the birds are very therapeutic.

I so love feeding the birds too! I would actually put pinecones with peanutbutter and bird seed hanging from the trees, until the darn squirrels took the whole pincone and all that was left was hanging strings.
I started naming the birds, the same ones would come back everyday.
At one point I had 4 sets of doves. I could sit and watch them all day

I love the birds too and my favorite beside the Bald Eagle is our BC Steller's Jay.

I have tons of these birds all over my yard, and the odd thing is, I have not seen one at any of the bird feeders.

What I do have that they love, and are always on is...the dog food bowls

This seems to be the Steller's Jay's favorite food, and my dogs actually let them take it, unless of course they are eating it at the time...

Yes those birds are nervy enough to come and take it from the bowl while the dogs are eating...
