    We have new furbabies!!!
    Our cat Taffy gave birth Monday to one kitten at noon, followed by two more at 8:30 p.m.



    The kittens are doing great, eating well, and are healthy. Taffy is being the greatest Mom, which is wonderful!
    One kitten is dark with a mostly white face and other white markings; one is almost all dark with a bit of white; the other is a beige/fawn colour, really hard to tell where that will go... might be a very light ginger, or might turn out like Taffy, who was similarly coloured when she was born - the sealpoint markings came months later for her...




    They are pretty much like 'three blind mice' right now - oh, I wish I could describe their sounds! When calling for their mom, they can get pretty loud; when looking to nurse or moving around, they have this cute little squeak/grunt thing going on.




    *Update Wednesday - sadly, the light-coloured kitten died tonight...
