Hi people. I am just new to this couponing to the extreme. And funny thing is I go online to find coupons and not really finding things that I can or need for Canada. Find many printed many off and when I read then said for USA only
wasted alot of ink for nothing. Also I see people trading and I am not sure how this works. Any help and guidance would be great. As I do not want to look like a fool at the checkout. Thanks.

As a rule, you'll find that printables can cause some difficulty. Not all stores accept them and there's the problem that you've run in to-- that is, printing them off and discovering they are for the USA and not Canada.
Click on the "coupons" tab or follow this link to the coupons forum.
http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/canadian-coupons/
In that forum you will find a number of helpful resources to help you find Canadian coupons such as:
Online coupon ordering sites that deliver the coupons to your door. For these you must create an account. Some of those sites include GoCoupons, websaver.ca, save.ca, brandsaver.ca etc. There's more, I'm sure but those are some of the bigger ones.
Finding Inserts in newspapers: Generally there are 3 inserts- Redplum, Smartsource, and P&G Brandsaver. There is a schedule when these inserts appear in the local newspapers. Info on when which one comes out should be stickied in the coupon forum I directed you to.
In Store tear pads and coupon booklets: Again, there will be info in the "coupons"tab about where and when to find these.
It's a lot to learn all at once, so start small and in areas that interest you. This site can seem overwhelming when you're first getting started, but we are a friendly group of people so ask questions and surf around the various sections to become familiar with the information that's already available! My recommendation based on what you're looking for: browse around in the "coupon" forum and start by becoming familiar with how and when and where to find coupons. After that, head over to the "deals" forum so you can discover how to find the absolute best deals for the coupons you have!
