I really have to learn the lingo on this site. This comment is like Esperanto to me! I know TP is toilet paper. And I thought CT was Canadian Tire but how would you get Canadian Tire money for PMing a coffee machine that you bought at WM (Walmart??) !

I'm so confused!

Canadian Tire has a price matching policy that states that they will PM (price match) any competitor's advertised price and beat it by 10% in Canadian Tire Money. That's how she got the extra CT money.

I also notice that different stores carry different packaging too...I will list weekly deals on the first thread, and start to keep a spreadsheet as well, also notice that deals have to be fully watched over time in other to figure out the stats...do bear with me on this.

Its for 24 double rolls, not the greatest sale out there, but its worth it for the $20 in coupons that comes with it!

Thanks for your help and this excellent thread. I just picked up Purex 24 roll 2 ply with 135 sheets per roll for $4.99 and I was happy but it sounds like I could do better if I could understand all the math

Here is the rough guide in english with no math symbols:
less than 400 sheets for $1 means the TP is Regular Price
approximately 400 sheets for $1 means the TP is the usual Sale Price
approximately 600 sheets for $1 means the TP is a Good Sale Price
approximately 800 sheets for $1 means the TP is an Excellent Sale Price
more than 800 sheets for $1 means the TP is an Incredible Sale Price

Standard toilet paper:
less than 600 sheets for $1 means the TP is the Regular Price
approximately 600 sheets for $1 means the TP is a Regular Sale Price
approximately 800 sheets for $1 means the TP is a Good Sale Price
approximately 1000 sheets for $1 means the TP is an Excellent Sale Price
more than 1000 sheets for $1 means the TP is an Incredible Sale Price

you got 649 sheets per $1 for your purex
here is the math: 24*135/4.99 = 649

according to the guide, this is a good sale price!
So you could have done better, but you could have done worse too

Those are single rolls. The double roll packs for the same price are 12 rolls same for 3 ply
