So, if the paper tears off short, are you sticking your finger in to dig it out?

I avoid Wal-Mart like the plague, but if they ever start offering those dispensers, I'll be first in line

I'm surprised that more of the so called fishermen (new canadians) haven't been run over the way they run along and back and forth across the causeway.

Why are they "so called" fishermen? Aren't they fishing?

We put our Sheltie down a year ago last October.... He is the second Sheltie that we have had (and put down) and it was one of the hardest things I had to do.... Our first was like our first born child, and when our son was born, our dog was the best baby sitter around... he barked when he heard the baby crying and if anyone came near the baby, he was right there beside them making sure that the baby was ok....

We found out that the mother of our second Sheltie was given away because they had a baby... terrible reason....

Why are they "so called" fishermen? Aren't they fishing?

Depends if you call catching everything and anything and keeping it fishing. Theres apoint where you throw back the little ones to eventually catch big ones from them but they do not give them a chance. These so called fishemen keep things that are sometimes smaller than their bait. Many have been caught with illegally fishing here and with out of season fish but the ministry justs gives them a small fine which is no deterent to them whatsover.

I always thought fishermen caught fish.These guys usually lose their bait/lure and catch nothing. Also they usually don't have a license.

It is only Illegal if you get caught, fined, processed, prosecuted & pay the fine!

I would think most would agree that Cats & Dogs are different from one another (Hard to argue against that point), that both would be dependent on the master for the basics - Love, Food & Water, That BOTH make awesome companions! We have 1 of each! I cannot understand people that would give up a family member because of a new family arrival?!!?

Cats are seemingly less dependent or more so independent, they are definitely less maintenance. I couldn't imagine being without an animal cat or dog.

He was a "want to be Collie"... lol.. most Shelties are between about 20 - 30 lbs and he was about 50 lbs... He was the most rambunctious of the litter and with two small kids we thought he would suit our family the best... we had a 6 month reunion with his mother and brothers and sisters and he was definitely the biggest of the bunch.

Although he did not have papers, he was pure bread... just a big one!!!
We didn't mind.... we wanted him as a pet - not to bread or show, so his size didn't matter to us... He was a great dog... super temperment and not a huge barker (which Shelties are known for)...

Ya its fishing alright and they never leave any of there garbage there either. Usually they take all the fish and leave there crap for the rest of us to clean up. It would'nt be bad if they bought things in the town but all they do is fish the lake and take everything home and really do not support the community by buying anything as they bring all there own stuff and leave the garbage and take all the illegal fish its a win win for them. Now I'm going to bed all fired up.

Welcome to all the new folks that have joined our happy little family here.

Sorry for the delay. I went to a jewelery making workshop my neighbour put on tonight & got sidetracked chatting with her. & no, I won't post a pic of what I made, maybe once I actually figure out what I'm doing & produce something post worthy.
