Girls night out! Freebies!

Today I took dd to see "How to Train Your Dragon". I used 2 General Mills coupons (1 child, 1 adult) for free admission. I found one in a recycling bin and one came from my mom. Then I used the Old El Paso coupon for a free small popcorn. I brought my own bottled water in my purse cause the thought of paying $4+ for dasani makes me sick. But I did buy DD a small Iced tea that cost me an arm and a leg but I got 10%off with my scene card. We also stopped at the grocery store en route to the theater to pick up dd's free m&m's. Well,I had to pay the tax. The mars coupon came in the mail today! Perfect timimg This was the best FREEBIE Ive had in a long time. DD loved it!

So for less than $5 we did a full movie night. AWESOME! The only thing that sucked is that we had to go to our 4th choice theater because the coupons arent valid for 3-D shows and everywhere else was only showing it in 3D.

great job mama! I'm looking forward to toy story 3 in theaters with my little guy! (free tickets from toy story movie! and the free snack from el paso!)

we also bring our own pop to the movies. because shoppers always has the 6 x 710ml on sale for $2.50 . so 42 cents is a LOT better than $4 + dollars

I used the exact same deal as you on Sunday for the same movie....gotta love movie coupies!!!

My nephew was glad we went to the "normal" movie because he hates the 3D glasses.

If you request them..some theatres let you watch the 3D movie by paying the difference of $ 3 .

However YMMV..it depends upon the theatre manager & the people working there if they are nice they let you UPGRADE by paying the difference ..( Call beforehand & find out if they will let you do that or not ) .
