I never buy 'sugary cereal' for breakfast food but who can resist with those $5 coupons? So I have bought a bunch of Lucky Charms, and Nesquik and, using the Ziploc snack bags from my stash, have made up snack bags for school lunches. It comes to about .25 per snackbag and then there is the free icecream as bonus!!
So what do you do?This thread is currently associated with: N/A

You could use them at Walmart and get the overage if there was any to pay down the rest of your order.

The coupon states up to $5 off, I don't think we can get overage as they will input whatever amount the ice cream costs, even if it is less than $5.

You can use the coupon to buy more than one container. The other week there was a special on Compliments IGA ice cream 2/5$. So I got 2 free. It was a bit of hassle. As the cashier kept arguing with me she could only pass the coupon as 2.50$. I can't remember the exact reading but it does say up to 5$ and it doesn't limit you to one.
Even the head cashier corrected my cashier. Took 10 minutes to get that straigthen up. You shd have seen the people waiting in line. The cashier apologized afterward, I said don't to me but to the people behind. There was one nasty lady, I was glad to point the finger at her.Last edited by cbou; Wed, Apr 20th, 2011 at 12:00 AM.

I got my coupons on various Cheerios types. So far I've only used 1 coupon at SDM during the 20x point event.
