I have been using the $ 5 off when you buy 2 Olay products on the travel hand creams. They are 1.57 ea so I am gaining 1.86 each transaction and have not had any problems!

    Hey Jader,

I've recently been to WM in PG and they changed their policy on April 11, 2011. I've never had a problem but I always have it with me in case they want to take it up. I've also bought the trial size Olay and used the $5.00 coupon and I've had different cashiers, but no crap like you've experienced.

This is what I take with me as well as the phone number for their head office Walmart Customer Relations - 1-800-328-0402
    7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (EST) - Monday – Friday (excluding holidays)

    Wal-Mart Coupon Rules – updated April 11, 2011

    • must be presented at the time of purchase
    • only Canadian coupons are accepted
    • the item purchased must match the item presented on the coupon. (identical in size, quantity, brand, style, flavour, color and /or any other specs used to identify the product on the coupon)
    • Expiration date must be present & be redeemed prior to the expiration
    Print-at-home internet coupons:
    - must be legible
    - must have “Manufacturer Coupon” printed on them
    - have have a valid name & Canadian remit address
    - must have a valid expiration date
    - must have a scannable bar code
    - can be buy one, get one free (BOGO) coupons
    - are acceptable in black, white or color
    Manufacturer’s coupons
    - dollar/cents off
    - free items
    - buy one get one free (BOGO)
    - has “Manufacturer Coupon” printed
    - must have valid name
    - must have valid expiration date
    - must have a scannable bar code
    Competitors coupons qualify if:
    - issued by a Canadian competitor
    - for a specific item for a specified price i.e. $2.99
    - buy one, get one free (BOGO) coupons for items with a specified price
    - they have a valid expiration date
    - and are acceptable in black, white or color
    # of coupons that can be used for each item
    • only one acceptable coupon may be presented for each purchased item within a transaction
    • store managers reserve the right to limit quantities where multiple coupons are being used for multiple purchases of the same item

When coupon value exceeds the price of the item:

    • the excess amount can be given as cash or can be applied toward the basket purchase , at the customer’s choice

Free merchandise with a coupon (BOGO)
    • no sales tax is applied on the free merchandise

Hope this helps even it if's a bit long.

    Hey Jader

I went this morning and used two of the olay WUB2 coupons - the cashier wasn't going to let me do it but I told her about the policy (Lady behind me agreed) and the cashier supervisor came over and said that it was ok. Apparently they haven't let all of the cashiers know about the changes in the policy. Good luck with your trip there!

Thanks for posting that - the thought of challenging them is quite intimidating for a newbie, but much more doable with the policy in hand!

Had the best experience yesterday with the best Walmart cashier ever! I had probably about $100.00 worth of coupons on about 60 items that she had to do. She turned her light out after I said that we had a ton of coupons which was a great idea... so we did not have a bunch of angry folks behind us waiting. She went nice and slow so that we made sure she got it all right. Overall... the best experience with coupons so far! Thanks Bev! Will definitely look for her next time we are there. Even gave her some Resolve coupons to use!
