I bought a blush at Walmart and I hate it. Can I return it?...I'm not satisfied with the product. Anyone know the policy on this?

I think if it's opened they cannot be returned, for hygenic reasons.

I would call the company that makes it and see what the return policy is for them some offer a money back gaurantee on their products which they process through them and not the store

I'm pretty sure Walmart returns anything. LOL. I've head horror stories of them returning underwear etc (SO unhygenic!)
And they have returned foundation for me ( I had just bought it and hadn't even opened it to use it since I knew it was going to be the wrong colour) and I saw her toss it in a bin marked like do not return to shelf or something to that effect.Last edited by xox2010; Fri, May 6th, 2011 at 12:08 AM.

I don't see why not. I've never had a problem returning anything at Walmart.

I have to agree with October and mimi. I would definitely contact the manufacturer directly as they are almost always willing to reimburse you in some way. Call them up and see what they're willing to do to rectify the situation, they'll probably send out a free purchase coupon or something along those lines. Now to play devil's advocate a little. After contacting the manufacturer you could always go back to Walmart to try and return it. I just know this one's going to ruffle some feathers. *awaits flaming*
I don't know that I'd ever do it but I'm sure there are some that would.

If there is something wrong with it, the store should accept a return.

I returned a foundation once to Walmart. Besides the colour being off (they didn't have any testers), i also said it caused a reaction on my skin and they took it back. Stores like MAC & Sephora also accept used make-up back and it goes right in the trash, not re-sold. I guess thats why they also have a huge mark-up too though! But yes you can return it to walmart, my friend has done it a few times.

I've returned opened makeup. If you don't like it then it doesn't work for you. Hopefully you'll get a good customer service employee who'll just do the return no questions asked.
