No Frills Gift Cards

I'm not sure this is in the right spot, but, last week (Either tuesday or wed.) I bought 2 $50 gift cards. I for some reason checked the balance on them, even though they hadn't been used. Boy am I floored!
they BOTH say as of March 11th 2010 at 5:52am they are "inactive"


I don't have the receipts. Its hard to keep them with 2 toddlers who get into EVERYTHING! I did however, pay for them on my bank card, as well as the few groceries I did buy at the same time.
I'm worried they won't honour these, or refund the money!!!
Has anyone had a similar issue? Of course, I didn't check until the store was closed already

Get your bank statement (which will tell the exact time and date you purchased) and call the cash office manager of that particular store, they will be able to find the receipt for you.
