    i felt soo guilty when we tried switching formulas becuase we had a sample (goodstart) and she screamed bloody murder for about 5 hours straight before she passed out from exaustion, the next day we ran out and bought the other formula and she was happy again..

    woofy you will like gripe water! my toodles used to down that stuff! though double check th ebottle to make sure it's alcohol free... there are a few brands that make one with alcohol...

    yeah, I know. Looking back an hour isn't much but back then it felt like eternity. I was pretty sleep deprived and DH was working overtime alot and it was also christmastime, everything just hit me that night. lol.

    aw, poor thing must of only liked one kind?

    Thankfully DD would eat anything. She still does to this day. lol. Must get it off her dad. lol. She ate a lemon the other day! CRAZY!

    Oh dear... poor mommy and DD...

    I am not bfing exclusively myself... Ethan eats a lot, and he is inconsistent... While in the hospital, he was a snacker, and was crying every hour, and it exhausted me. But now, at home, he seems to have gone back to the 3 to 4 hour feeding schedule...

    Still trying to figure this little guy out...

    her digestive system sould like only 1 type of formula.. of course it was Enfamil.. one of the more expensive formulas out there

    Does she still take Enfamil?

    Ethan took Enfamil while in the Sick Kids' hospital, since they provided those very convenient one time feed bottles... He will down at least 2 bottles each time when we use formula.

    Also, Ethan is a good kid... He doesn't cry bloody murder when we switch... But I am wondering if switching causes gassiness and constipation...

    I asked his ped about it... He doesn't think so, since he says Enfamil and Similac are very similar...

    I am also second guessing myself, and wondering if my breastmilk is causing gas and constipation in him!
