Ok took my mom to LD today.. She wanted to see how stacking worked so off we went.. Here is the break down..
1-Tide PMed Walmart 5.97
1-Mr.Clean w/Febreeze 4.79
1-Bounce w/Febreeze 4.69 Total for 3 15.45 -10.00 C =5.45 or 1.81 ea
1-Tide PMed WM 5.97-1.00=4.97 Never can I get Tide that cheap
1-Bounce 4.31-1.00=3.31 Again can't get that in my town
2-Mach3 razors 6.99x2=13.98-12.00=1.98 or .99 ea
6-Loreal Everstrong products Pmed Phramasave 6x8.99=53.94-40.00=13.94 or 2.32 ea
6-Glade Candles 6x4.99=29.94-23.20=6.74 or 1.12 ea she missed a 1.00 one and messed up on one 2.00 and only put in .20 So shorted on thoses.
4-Old spice product =22.96-24.00=+1.04 Makes up for the candles
6-Tetley Ice tea 1.89L 15.00-7.50-3.00 in store=4.50 or .75 ea
2-Hellman's mayo sale 2.99x2=5.98 No coupons
2-St.Ives Scrub Pmed WM 2x2.97=5.94-2.00=3.94 or 1.97 ea
5-Aero Bubbles = 17.45-5.00-2.50 In store=9.95 or 1.99 ea
2-Gillette 1 wash 1 razor 15.98-17.00=+1.02 she also didn't scan my fusion shave gel so that was 2.99.
Now this is where she messed up big time I have a coupon on my receipt showing 14.00 and nothing for it. So ahead that also.. It bug me big time that I didn't check my receipt before leaving town.. I felt so bad I phoned them and chatted with the manager.. He was good and was grateful I was honest with the stuff i didn't get charged for and the 14.00 mistake.. I didn't want to get the cashier in trouble so I told him I couldn't remember her name.. He was fine I think he knew. He told me I guess we paid for your gas today. I told him I would mail him a money order and he said not to worry as it was nice to see honest people.. I asked him kindly not to give the poor staff trouble and he said no he won't as I was good enough to be honest he could be good enough too..
So I got roughly 230.00
Saved 162.20
spent 68.05 with taxes..

Your honesty, especially your worry about the impact of the coupon error on the cashier's job is awesome (in the truest sense of the word)

Oooooh-" Loreal Everstrong products Pmed Phramasave 6x8.99" Am I ever glad I read your post-I'm heading to LD tomorrow, and I haven't used my L'oreal coupons yet!
Thank you for your honesty in calling about your bill-mistakes can happen, and a lot of cashiers are really flustered by stacking. Its people like you who give coupon users a good name
