Thread: My first brag --- KoolAid
-
Wed, May 5th, 2010, 08:06 PM #1
A few months ago KoolAid went on sale for around $1.20 a box at RCSS and Zellers so I snatched up a ton of boxes
The result of my endless boxes of KoolAid
**drumroll**

My homemade KoolAid Bag that my grandma helped me make
(actually she did all the sewing I just sat and told her what to do LOL)
I got the idea from a youtube tutorial of someone making their bag
The bag cost me a grand total of less than $4
It would have cost less if I had used one colour but whats the fun in that?
Since I used alot of colours I have alot of leftover pouches to make my next bag!

This how you open the jammers so you can sew and clean them
(I personally didn't glue it shut and I let it dry overnight until it was completly dry inside)

I watched these videos and they helped alot because you could see exactly how they do it

I modified the way that they did it to make it the way I wanted itLast edited by OctoberSun; Wed, May 5th, 2010 at 08:57 PM.

I plan on making a makeup bag to go with it and a change purse.
It took me an hour to make it because it was my first time and I had to keep going back and watching the video to see how it was done and it took me forever to decide which order I wanted the juice pouches to go in LOL. You can also make it with CapriSun bags too.
I forgot to mention it took 26 juice pouches to make it which is 2 and 3/4 boxes totalLast edited by OctoberSun; Wed, May 5th, 2010 at 08:50 PM.
