this is willow, the cat who went missing,,,

NEW YORK, N.Y.—A calico cat named Willow, who disappeared from a home near the Rocky Mountains five years ago, was found Wednesday on a Manhattan street and will soon be returned to a family in which two of the three kids and one of the two dogs may remember her.
How she got to New York, more than 2,500 kilometres away, and the kind of life she lived in the city are mysteries.

“I don’t know what kind of life she’s had, so I don’t know what her personality will be like,” she said. When Willow disappeared, she said, “She was a really cool cat, really sweet.”

At first, I thought this would just be another case of identity theft. However, it does seem to be the right cat. The culture shock of moving back to Colorado may prove to be a difficult adjustment, however. Life on the streets of New York, with its gangs, drugs and violence, may have affected its personality, which may alienate it from the rural lifestyle of Colorado cats. He may just pack his bags and begin the long, arduous journey back to the Big Apple. I wish it the best of luck.

my friends in wiarton went to dinner at a local restaurant, when they came out they heard something in a garbage can by the door and looked in, it was a kitten looking for food so they brought it home, of course i named her oscar, because of the garbage can, really good cat. oscar recently had kittens so i brought 3 to toronto one for each of my 2 friends daughters, who were surprised and disgusted they were catching mice, and one for my deaf friend whose cat passed away and needed the companionship. now to get mama fixed before it happens again, dont know who let her out but it made 3 girls happy
