2x Weeks Ago, my Mother called me to say that my Cousin Dianne passed away suddenly.
She grew up in BC and I have the Honour of having Her as part of my Childhood Memories.
Of 8x Cousins in my Generation (9x including myself), She was the Oldest.
Only 4+ Months separate us, making me the Second Oldest.
She Taught me to Ignore Peer Pressure and to Enjoy what makes you Happy.
I once disliked Prince and would refuse to listen to his Music because I thought is was "Uncool".
Dianne rented the Movie Purple Rain and "made" me watch it with Her.
That Action Changed my Whole Perspective. To this Day, if I Like something, I LIKE it and it no longer Matters to me what the World may Think.
R.I.P. Dianne

Winter weather travel advisory has ended, but...
A winter weather travel advisory has been lifted for Toronto and surrounding area. Don’t kid yourself though as some side streets are still snow covered and very slick. City salters and plows are out there now but as always, drivers are being reminded to drive to the conditions.
A number of flights out at Pearson have been cancelled or delayed this morning, so any air travellers are being asked to check the status of their flights before heading out today.
Did you know?
Sneezing is our body rebooting. Researchers concluded that we need to reset our nasal cavity every so often and we do that by sneezing.
5-year-old girl dead after being pinned between two vehicles in school pick-up
Grief counsellors will be at a north-end Toronto school today to help students cope with a tragic death. A five-year-old girl has died in hospital after being pinned between two vehicles. The incident happened yesterday afternoon near St. Raphael catholic school in the Keele and Wilson area.
Police say the girl was getting into a Mercedes Benz when an SUV somehow slipped into gear without a driver inside and pinned the child between the two vehicles. She was rushed to hospital but later died of her injuries. Police are expected to provide an update later this morning.
