MPs pull all-nighter after Conservatives force filibuster over Atwal affair
It is an all-nighter on parliament hill -- that sound a lot more fun than what’s actually going on in the House of Commons, this morning. A conservative filibuster continues this hour - the first, since 2011.
MPs have been voting continuously on more than 250 motions since early yesterday evening, with the Tories predicting the marathon would take about 40 hours. The conservatives are retaliating against the liberals for voting down their motion to force testimony from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's national security adviser regarding the prime minister's trip to India.
