3-year-old boy dies after he was found inside vehicle in Burlington

The Criminal Investigations Bureau is now looking into the case of a toddler found without vital signs inside of a hot car. It happened near North Service Road and Brandt Street in Burlington around 5:30pm last night. Police say a "hysterical man" called 9-1-1 reporting that a child was inside the Ford Escape and was not breathing. Paramedics frantically tried to revive the child who was later pronounced dead at the scene. Police still can’t say for sure if heat played a factor in the child’s death. Reports suggest the child was left unattended inside the car for several hours.

Ontario Liberal Party to release recording of Doug Ford

The Ontario Liberal Party says it will be releasing audio of Progressive Conservative Party Leader Doug Ford and Etobicoke Centre PC candidate Kinga Surma that will “implicate” Ford in “another nomination and membership controversy.” In a press release issued by the Liberals late Wednesday afternoon, it said the tape will be released at 9:30am from the party’s headquarters in downtown Toronto Thursday. The tape is reportedly a conversation between Ford and his Etobicoke Centre candidate Kinga Surma. Additional details about the recording weren’t released by the Liberals. Like the Liberals are so pure. No controversy in their camp EVER!

Capitals beat Lightning to advance to Stanley Cup Final

Alex Ovechkin scored early and Andre Burakovsky added two second-period goals to help the Washington Capitals put a decade of playoff frustration behind them with a 4-0 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference final Wednesday night. Play offs between Washington & Las Vegas start on Monday May28th. You'd think they might want to start on Saturday night, but no.
