Last night, I saw my mother in a dream. It was the first dream in which I had about her since her passing that was not an anxiety riddled experience. I had a very brief conversation with her which went something like this...Me: Mom, a lot of people miss you very much, do you feel them when they're thinking about you?Mom: Yes, of course I do.Me: Mom, what is the afterlife like?Mom: When you get there; it's like a large reception area. There are only three workers at the desk, so you'll be waiting in line for a long time. But, your legs wont get tired and your patience never runs out.

Thanks for the post Jester Loocie will always be missed and never forgotten. What a beautiful dream.

Toronto Danforth mass shooter identified

Residents of the Danforth and all of Toronto are still very much in disbelief this morning. This as Toronto Police continue to search for clues that would help piece together why a 29-year-old man went on a shooting spree in the city's Greek town district Sunday night. Police Chief Mark Saunders described the investigation as "very fluid,'' adding “it's going to take some time." What we know is the gunman -- identified yesterday as 29-year old Faisal Hussain -- killed two people and wounded 13 others in the attack before police found his body near the scene, after an exchange of gunfire. The parents of the 29-year-old man say they're devastated by their son's ''senseless violence.'' The family says he had severe mental health issues, struggling with psychosis and depression his entire life. Neighbours tell Global News they seldom saw him. Post-mortem examinations will be conducted today on the two people killed in Sunday’s deadly rampage. Investigators say the families of 18-year-old Reese Fallon of Toronto and the 10-year-old girl -- also from Toronto -- have requested privacy. We know Fallon was a recent graduate who had planned on taking nursing at McMaster in the fall.

Hedley singer Jacob Hoggard charged with sexual assault

After months of public discussion, Jacob Hoggard, lead singer of the band Hedley, was arrested and charged with sexual assault in Toronto on Monday. Police charged him with one count sexual interference and two counts of sexual assault causing bodily harm. The Criminal Code says sexual interference involves the touching for a sexual purpose, directly or indirectly, of a person under the age of 16 with a part of the body or with an object. The charges stem from three separate incidents in 2016 that involved two different women. Hoggard was accused of sexual misconduct in the wake of the #MeToo movement, and his band went on indefinite hiatus earlier this year. Police say they suspect there are more victims.
