... until i saw fresh pieces of shredded maple leaves i thought they were done. there are some new adults flying around and the females have started laying eggs for next year. time to get out the scraper!

It's a wet, rainy day. Good for the grass & gardens.

Unfortunately the Habs season came to an end last night, losing 1-0. TB got to hoist the cup for a 2nd NHL short season. Next season will see totally different teams, with the expansion of Seattle.

Canada's Denis Shapovalov will advance to the semi finals, in Wimbleton, while Felix Auger-Aliassime's run in the quarter finals came to an end. For a near 20 year old, he did Canada proud.

England & Italy will face off in the Euro Cup on Sunday.

But there was no Pizzaville to be found! I asked Raoul, "How am I going to get my Ponzo Combo?" He told me to "Call 736-36-36, not 7 free sex, free sex, free sex and they will deliver your Ponzo Combos."

we got a LOT of rain yesterday! good news is that the trees are starting to come back. it's starting to look a little like spring with fresh growth. the pine trees are another story. i don't think they'll be back as quickly. sorry if you've booked off next week for vacation but the trees will be happy!

My wants are simple but it seems that four consecutive dry hours (during daylight hours) is still asking too much. Rain won't stop me - the Lord 'tundering will - but I'd prefer to enjoy my time on the links rather than stoically grinning and bearing!
