We returned from buying a Christmas tree. We usually find the best ones at Sheridan Nurseries. We bought an 8 ft Scotch pine....
which is thawing in the garage presently. We need the branched to drop so we can shake the dead needles out...
We are not sure how Diva will react to it. She jumps on everything.

We learned many years ago not to use tinsel...

afternoon Q sters,
i've had a busy 2 days so far. got rodent & fiance's presents wrapped & shipped off to beautiful BC yesterday. hopefully they'll like them. kittens & santa sent theirs too. got the 1st coat of paint done & tomorrow i'll get the second coat on. the most tediest part of painting is masking off what you don't what painted. the painting itself is a breeze.
yes, HG, it is FREEZING out there. unlike attitash, i had to switch from my fall jacket to my winter one & find my mitts. bring back summer & the HEAT!.

remember if you're going out to party, don't drink & drive. have a dd, take a cab or public transit. please stay alive this Christmas season.

I got the Alice Cooper (autographed - twice) box set today!!!


The box set came with 4 cd's, a dvd, 12" vinyl, 7" single vinyl by the "Nazz" (the band that became Alice Cooper), a hard cover yearbook and art prints. I never thought it would have so much... Funny part was that I had it shipped to work and it was delivered to me while one of the auditors was in my office. I was really excited so I opened it while still talking to him. When I showed him the 7" vinyl, he asked me if I had something to play it on and I laughed and said "yes". He asked me if it was an 8 track... He said "I guess I'm showing my age".... (I think he's 24)


I asked the guy from Universal Music if I could mail him a couple of photographs to have Alice sign with the box set and he had no problem with that, so I have two photos of hubby and I with Alice autographed.... guess what hubby's getting as part of his Christmas gift??? Shhhhhh.....

what a great surprise. bet you're back in the clouds again. i'm sure hubby will love the gift.

Guess I better get going!

Actually one thing says doors open at 6 and another says 7 and I heard on the radio the first act starts at 7:40 so whatever, I'm leaving in around 1/2 hour!

What a beautiful pud Naturebug! Such a sweetie! My Amy is by my side as usual watching and waiting for me to get off this thing!
