Just making breakfast for the kids. We all slept in a little today.

It's my son's 10th birthday today so we are all off to see Sherlock Holme's today, having a big dinner and then partying until 2012!

I sort of had a good day, if you can call it that,
But a member of my household & I, got engaged in a heated wee chat,
There are some people who just shun suggestions,
& some who simply ignore the most helpful directions,
Some try to play the part of the vindicator,
But it will never wash if you say “I’ll just do it later”,
I won’t mention names as that just wouldn’t be fair,
As sometimes domestic issues are similar to trial & error,
Don’t say “I was gonna”, cause we all know it’s a line,
To receive redemption you must provide wine!
Opinions & ideas are 2 different things,
& not all yo-yo’s are attached to their strings,
Cause when it comes to some topics, its best not to engage,
So you call it a draw & you just turn the page,
Domesticity has a way of throwing a curve,
Sometimes we receive & sometimes we serve,
Keep it fair, but keep your perspective,
Keep your mind in frame & be introspective,
That’s about all from Loocie as we close the books on this year,
& wait for two thousand & twelve to make its premiere!

Sometimes living alone does have its benefits..
and sometimes its just plain lonely...you can't win both ways..lol
I hope you all ring in the new year with a really big bell...

I have been M.I.A. for a few days here and have been
so busy in a good way that I could use a real vacation!

We were to be with friends this evening at their home,
and suddenly there is a huge party at some fancy place...
that we have to attend...
I love dancing and apparently they have hired a great band,
