    Rescued dog ready for new home

    The Humane Society of Durham Region said on January 17, 2012, that Jenny, a Yorkshire terrier that was discovered near death on December 29, 2011, has had an amazing recovery and will be going to a new home. (Courtesy of Humane Society of Durham Region)
     TORONTO — Little Jenny, the Yorkie terrier whose story of horrific neglect touched the Greater Toronto Area, is ready for a new home.
    Jenny was found Dec. 29, 2011, emaciated in an unheated shed in Whitby, Ont., after a tip to the Humane Society of Durham Region.
    The dog's eyes had been completely shut due to pus and infection, with blood coming from her mouth, and she could barely walk.
    The society said Tuesday that Jenny has gone from the "brink of death to an amazing recovery and is full of spunk and life."
    Veterinarians have given the pooch the OK to be adopted, and she'll be heading to her new home Wednesday.

    Well, she'll be better now and go to a nice home - just wish she
    hadn't had to go through all that awful crap!

    Hey everyone...long time no post... I've been hanging out at the 590 forum winning prizes..yay.
    Anyway I wanted to enter the Superbowl contest and was wondering if anyone had posted the answers? I really am sports challenged but I gal's gotta try, every contest is a chance for a trip!! LOL

    Thanks H team!!!! I am sooooo looking forward to Thursday "call call call" It feels like forever since the Q has given us any interative fun. I sure hope someone from here takes home the a prize again!!!!
    Since Hubbie is home full time now (early retirement) I really need a distraction...he's driving my nuts.....a trip anywhere would really be cool!!!!
