My Friends...
Today I come on Board with Great Sadness and a Heavy Heart.
On this Psunday, January 22nd of the Year 2012, my Dear Helen Passed Away.
I was baking Cookies when my Wife and a Friend of ours came upstairs with the News that Helen slipped into a coma.
We rushed to the Hospital.
We saw Her, but She was not awake; Her breathing was laboured.
After a while, the Wife and I waited outside so that Immediate Family could have their Time Together.

We were Informed that Helen had Passed Away at 5:20pm.
The Wife is pretty Upset.

I told Her that G*d just needed an Assistant and Helen Submitted Her Resume.

It is hard to hold back the Tears... She will be soooo Missed.
R.I.P. Dear Helen

I'm SOOOO sorry 2 hear that your Helen has passed away.
As Sarah McLaughlin would say "she's in the arms of the angels" - it's ok 2 cry, so go ahead & grieve.
She must have been just a wonderful person 2 have u & ur family as such special friends.
My thoughts & prayers r with you, your family & Helen's family.
Yesterday would have been my mother's 83 rd birthday. She died 10 yrs ago last week.

When we got the News and Headed out to the Hospital, the most Powerful "Omen" that I received was by the first Song that I heard on the Radio (Q107) when we got into the car... Elton John's Funeral for a Friend (3pm).

The Funeral is tomorrow, so I will be asking the Boss for the Day Off.

Just came on and read your sad news about Helen Wolfie! I'm really sorry that she has passed, at least it sounds like she had good family and friends and made it to 92 years old which many of us won't.....may she rest in peace...

It seems Insignificant that yesterday was my 2nd Year Anniversary of being an SC'er.

morning Q sters,
a wet mild start to the day. it will be more seasonal by tomorrow, so don't frett too much skiers. it just means that people that live south of the ski hills, will have green grass. it was back to the rodent's room yesterday. got the closet all painted a nice semi-gloss white, so you can see in it. next weekend it will be the emerald green wall to paint, then i can start to tear up carpeting & do the floor. just taking it one step at a time & trying not to kill myself. thanx for all the reps. have a great monday.

i'm so sorry to hear about your dear friend Helen's passing. my thoughts & prayers are with you, your wife & her family. she picked her passing on Chinese New Year & she did love her chinese food.

Dying to share his good news, a man who accidentally shot himself in the head with a nail gun posted the X-ray on Facebook. The Los Angeles Times says that Dante Autullo was sure he'd merely cut himself with a nail gun while building a shed, and thought doctors were joking when they told him what an X-ray revealed: A nearly-four inch nail was lodged in the middle of his brain.
"When they brought in the picture, I said to the doctor, 'Is this a joke? Did you get that out of the doctors' joke file?"' the 32-year-old told the Times. "The doctor said, 'No man, that's in your head."'
As he was rushed by ambulance to another hospital for surgery, he posted a picture of the X-ray on Facebook.
Autullo said he was building a shed Tuesday and using the nail gun above his head when he fired it. With nothing to indicate that a nail hadn't simply whizzed by his head, his long-time companion, Gail Glaenzer, cleaned the wound with peroxide.
"It really felt like I got punched on the side of the head," he said, adding that he continued working. "I thought it went past my ear."


After feeling nauseous the next day, the man went to the hospital and an X-ray revealed a nail in the middle of his head.
Doctors told Autullo that the nail came within millimeters to the part of the brain that controls motor function, and he was rushed by ambulance to the other hospital for more specialized care.
"He feels good. He moved all his limbs, he's talking normal, he remembers everything," Glaenzer told the paper. "It's amazing, a miracle."

I thought she might be 93 now Wolfie but wasn't positive, well 92 or 93 years, she's fortunate to have made it that many without ending up in a nursing home or being really sick or something......
