Good rainy morning, everyone.

Lily dog is sulking because she got her toes wet this morning and now Quincy won't share the comfy spot on the bench with her (he's being catty ).

I had fun yesterday with my neighbours. So much so, that what I thought would be a couple of hours of playing cards turned into 7 hours of fun (& way too many snacks!). Critters were none too impressed when I finally dragged myself home.

Having a quiet day today, although there is always housework to be done. Blech.

I thought she might be 93 now Wolfie but wasn't positive, well 92 or 93 years, she's fortunate to have made it that many without ending up in a nursing home or being really sick or something......


Congrats on your 2nd year my friend, that means you've enhanced the thread for 2 big ones, may you remain with us for many more!

Your presence here is not insignificant to us, not in any way. Helen was lucky to have had you in her life, and we are lucky to have you in our cyber-lives.

My Friends...
Today I come on Board with Great Sadness and a Heavy Heart.
On this Psunday, January 22nd of the Year 2012, my Dear Helen Passed Away.
I was baking Cookies when my Wife and a Friend of ours came upstairs with the News that Helen slipped into a coma.
We rushed to the Hospital.
We saw Her, but She was not awake; Her breathing was laboured.
After a while, the Wife and I waited outside so that Immediate Family could have their Time Together.

We were Informed that Helen had Passed Away at 5:20pm.
The Wife is pretty Upset.

I told Her that G*d just needed an Assistant and Helen Submitted Her Resume.

It is hard to hold back the Tears... She will be soooo Missed.
R.I.P. Dear Helen

Good morning, still raining in Markham. Still fighting this cold, but I think it’s on the downward slope. Never left the house Friday afternoon and Saturday. Leafs did not help!! Went in to work for 4 hours on Sunday to catch up, got a lot done. I guess that is why I have time to type this and catch up.
Wolfie the young lady in the surf was I nice pick me up. I guess I will have to get the dialling finger ready on Thursday. A warm beach looks like a great idea.

So sorry to learn that your dear friend Helen has passed away. She must have been quite a inspirational lady & to live to such a ripe old age. You will miss her terribly but treasure those valued memories.

Work is crazy and more. Though I worked Friday after my surgery, the meds
slowed me down and.....

I am very thankful there has been no pain or swelling....
In fact I have to remind myself not to chew any food on that side.
