Happy snow addict here....and our Christmas tree has a stay of execution...she gets to remain in tact as we are heading north instead of de-decorating today. The latest we have kept our tree up one year was until March. We have a tradition with close friends to de-decorate togther, and one year we were all away at different times and couldn't get together til March, lol we had to wear ski gloves to de-decorate, and we fed her right into the fireplace..Typically once we dedecorate I put the tree in the yard with berries and suet for the birds...then chop her up (the tree not the birds) and add to the woodpile.....
TIS THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR



HAPPY SNOW ADDICT HERE, AND OUR CHRISTMAS TREE HAS A STAY OF EXECUTION...SHE GETS TO REMAIN IN TACT AS WE ARE HEADING NORTH AND DELAYING THE DETREEING TIL LATER...THE LATEST WE HAVE KEPT OUR TREE UP WAS THE BEGINNING OF MARCH...WE HAVE A TRADITION WITH CLOSE FRIENDS TO DEDECORATE TOGETHER AND THAT ONE YEAR WE ALL WERE AWAY AT DIFFERENT TIMES HENCE NOT ALL TOGETHER UNTIL MARCH..LOL WE HAD TO WEAR SKI GLOVES TO UNDERCORATE.... TYPICALLY ONCE WE DEDECORATE I PUT THE TREE IN THE BACK YARD AND ADD FRUIT AND SUET FOR THE BIRDS, THEN LATER CHOP UP THE TREE AND ADD IT TO THE WOOD PILE..... TIS THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR

Lily dog is not talking to me - we rushed out for our walk this morning, without bothering to get her coat. Poor girl was so cold, she didn`t even want to play in the sn*w.

Today might have to be another nap day - anything to stay warm. Might even have to bake cookies just to get the oven going.
