There’s vegan pizza & vegan wraps,

I’ve heard that you can download several vegan apps,

There is vegan beer & vegan rum,

& I hear you can even chew vegan gum,

Vegan appetizers & vegan casseroles,

& vegan soup to slop in your bowls,

Vegan this & that & vegan cheese & macaroni,

& if you try really hard you’ll find vegan bologna,

Vegans also practice fruitarin-ism,

& they still have some albums from that group named Prism,

I don’t moan & I don’t really preach,

& sometimes I would rather “Eat a Peach”

But, I can’t give up the eggs that I so love to scramble,

& I like to make meatballs & go on a ramble,

Chicken kebobs & a roast cooked to be rare,

Cooking with love & cooking with flair,

There is so much we encounter that tends to annoy,

But eat well, live well & don’t forget to enjoy,

To my vegan friend who inspired these lines,
